LBO Nonlinear Crystals

Lithium triborate (LBO) is a nonlinear crystal with wide transparency, broad Type 1 and Type 2 non-critical phase matching range, small walk-off, wide acceptance angle and high damage threshold. It is used for frequency doubling and tripling of high peak power pulsed Nd-doped, Yb:KGW/KYW, Ti:Sapphire and dye lasers, for OPO, and for non-critical conversion of CW and quasi-CW radiation. Crystals are available with AR, BBAR and P-coatings, unmounted or in holders, in lengths up to 90 mm and apertures up to 60x60 mm.
