ZGP Nonlinear Crystals

ZnGeP2 (ZGP) infrared nonlinear crystals have the largest nonlinear optical coefficient among IR crystals, relatively high damage threshold and a useful transmission range of 1.9–8.6 µm and 9.6–10.2 µm. They are used for SHG and up-conversion of CO and CO2 laser radiation and for OPO down-conversion of holmium, thulium and erbium laser wavelengths to the mid-infrared. Crystals come with high damage threshold coatings for ~2.1 µm pumping and 3.5–5.0 µm output.
