KGW Raman Crystals
Undoped potassium gadolinium tungstate KGd(WO4)2 (KGW) crystals for stimulated Raman scattering, a simple, compact way of frequency conversion that is compatible with all-solid-state laser technology. Small thermal effects and a high damage threshold make KGW a good candidate for power scaling, and it is especially effective with ps pulses. Crystals are mainly b-cut or Np-cut with lengths up to 70 mm, uncoated or AR/BBAR coated for the pump and Stokes wavelengths.
