KTA Nonlinear Crystals
Potassium titanyl arsenate (KTA) is a nonlinear crystal for optical parametric oscillation, with significantly reduced absorption in the 2.0–5.0 µm range, broad angular and temperature bandwidth and low dielectric constants. Main applications are OPO for mid-IR generation up to 4 µm, sum and difference frequency generation in the mid-IR, and electro-optical modulation and Q-switching. Crystals come with AR and BBAR coatings for VIS-IR and mid-IR ranges, unmounted or in 1 inch holders.
