Pockels Cells

Pockels cells change the polarization state of transmitted light when voltage is applied to an electro-optic crystal and, combined with a polarizer, act as fast optical switches. Covers BBO, DKDP (KD*P), RTP, KTP and LiNbO3 based cells for Q-switching, cavity dumping, pulse picking and regenerative amplifier control.
