DKDP Nonlinear Crystals

Large aperture DKDP (KD*P) crystals are used for harmonic generation of high pulse energy, low repetition rate (<100 Hz) Q-switched and mode-locked Nd:YAG lasers: second harmonic with Type 1 or Type 2 phase matching, third harmonic via sum frequency generation, and fourth harmonic with non-critical cut heated crystals. Highly deuterated DKDP is also used for electro-optical modulation and Q-switching in Pockels cells. Crystals are supplied with AR coatings for the specified Nd:YAG harmonic wavelengths.
