Glan-Taylor

Glan-Taylor polarizing prisms are air-spaced polarizers that transmit the linearly polarized extraordinary beam and deflect the ordinary beam to the housing, offering an extinction ratio of 1:100 000. Natural calcite prisms operate across the transmission range from 220 nm to 2300 nm; α-BBO versions are also available for UV use. Prisms are supplied unmounted or in black anodized aluminum housings with no escape ports.
