Lithuania–Finland Defence Industry and Science Forum
During my visit to Helsinki, Finland, I witnessed firsthand the breadth of this interest — from drone manufacturing to solutions as practical as food preparation for soldiers. The participation of Lithuania's President, Gitanas Nausėda, at the Lithuania–Finland Defence Industry and Science Forum underscored the critical importance of this sector for Lithuania and other NATO countries. A big thank you to the Lithuanian Innovation Agency for organising such a meaningful event.

BalticPhotonics 2025
Today, I attended the #BalticPhotonics 2025 conference in Vilnius. I walked in feeling quite pessimistic. What new insights could I gain about Lithuania's relatively small photonics for defence and space industry? The talks were exceptionally professional and well-prepared. Crucially, the international scope was evident — with all presentations and discussions held in English, it truly felt like a global platform.
