from  single  components   to   complete  laser  systems

Dear Photonics User,

Most important photonics exhibitions of this season are approaching rapidly. CLEO in US is taking place in just a week and LASER 2005 in Munich is starting in a month.
We hope that new products we are presenting will be of your interest and look forward to meeting you there.

Terahertz Spectroscopy Kit

The terahertz radiation range (100 GHz - 10 THz) is very attractive for many spectroscopic applications or imaging of biological objects. EKSPLA introduces Terahertz spectroscopy kit which includes all necessary componets for construction of optical system for Time Domain Terahertz Spectroscopy. The state-of-art GaAs photoconductive switch pumped by ultrashort laser (<100 fs) is used as emitter and detector of terahertz radiation. Usable spectral range extends from 200 GHz to 2 THz.

Thin Film Polarizers

Thin Film Polarizers are designed for use in high energy lasers. Due to high damage threshold, reaching 10 J/cm2 @ 1064 nm 8 ns, they are used as an alternative to Glan-Taylor laser polarising prisms or cube polarising beamsplitters.
Standard size is up to dia 50 mm (2"), while maximal available dimensions are 100x200 mm.

Improved Beam Profile of the SL330 Model Lasers

Due to the new design SL330 model lasers feature improved beam profile and are excellent solution for applications, where high energy picosecond pulses are needed.
Pulse compression during backward-stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS), used in EKSPLA SL300 series lasers, is simple and cost effective way for generating high power picosecond pulses. For obtaining of smooth output beam profile pre-amplifier and double-pass amplifier layout in SL 330 model lasers is used.

Continuous Tuning from 210 to 2300 nm with NT340

EKSPLA presents an upgraded NT340 series nanosecond tunable laser. Due to the innovative design improvements owners of the new NT342/1/UV and NT342/3/UV version now can benefit hands-free continuous wavelength tuning within 210 to 2300 nm range. This allows to expand research capabilities in spectroscopic applications and make the investigation process more productive.
